Job Title: Business Development Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers

Area to be covered: London

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 + £15,000 Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers will involve:

·        Field sales role promoting furnishing and interior design solutions for the property industry

·        Selling both relocation services and dress to sell contract furniture services

·        Selling to estate agents, residential developers and corporate relocation developers

·        Working as part of a three person rental sales team with a budget of circa £4m (majority of sales come from within the London area)

·        Initially you will be tasked with growing a revenue stream of circa £500,000-£600,000

·        Huge opportunity to grow your portfolio of customers to £1m

·        50% new business development targeting letting agents/ estate agents struggling to sell property (dress to sell service) as well as sport, media and finance businesses that are looking for contract furniture agreements, typically on 1-2 year deals (corporate relocation contract furniture service)

·        50% account managing existing relationships/ maximising customer spend potential

·        Reporting into the Rental Director

·        Building up a network of agents and property management partnerships

The ideal applicant will be an Area sales Manager – Contract Furniture Letting Agents/ Property Managers with:

·        Must have field sales experience within the property industry

·        Preferably 3-4 years working for an estate agent/ letting agent

·        Ideally within a network of contacts within estate agents

·        Ability to work autonomously

·        Mouldable and keen to learn the market

·        Knowledge of contact furniture is not essential

·        Open to B2B sales experience with Rightmove, OnTheMarket or Zoopla

·        Experience selling into small boutique housebuilders may be advantageous

·        Fire in the belly/ ability to open doors and “make things happen”

·        Preferably with an understand of design and design schemes
