Job Title: Area Sales Manager – High End Residential Products

Industry Sector: Main Contractors, Architects, Interior Design, Housebuilders, Private Developers, Specification, Property Owners and High Net-Worth Individuals


Area to be covered: National – based South East

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + £30,000-£35,000 Commission

Benefits: Fully expensed car & full benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager – High End Residential Products will involve:

·         Field sales position, with regular visits to South West London office (every Tuesday you will be required in the office as a minimum)

·         Selling the design and installation of luxury wine storage including; wine rooms, wine cellars, wine walls and wine display cabinets

·         Winning specification projects with main contractors, housebuilders, private developers, architects and interior designers

·         Targeting high end residential projects, kitchen retailers, fine dining restaurants and boutique hotels

·         70% new business development, 30% managing existing projects

·         Targets include £1m of sales in your first full year, and the sale of circa 40 kits (product only – no install)

·         Project sizes can vary from £20,000-£70,000, with a current average order value of circa £35,000-£40,000

·         Managing and expanding existing account relationships as well as generating new business leads and contributing towards a successful business plan

·         National coverage, although the majority of projects are London & Home Counties

 

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - High End Residential Products with:

·         Proven field sales track record selling into main contractors, housebuilders/ private developers and/ or architects & interior designers

·         Ideally with experience of selling luxury home improvement products e.g. high-end kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, joinery, staircases, natural stone, worktops, brassware, tiles or similar luxury products

·         Demonstrable  track record of field-based sales and achieving targets

·         A mentality of being happy to get on the phone to create new business opportunities

·         Detailed, driven and with the ability to follow a process with 100% accuracy

·         An effective influencer with experience building trusted relationships

·         Comfortable at managing complex/ long term projects

·         Ability to sell a technical product

·         Consultative in approach, organised and autonomous
