My client is one of the UK's leading provider of landscaping innovations as well as the world's largest manufacturer of bricks. Every world class product needs a world class team behind it; due to continued growth and success, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover London and the surrounding areas.

In line with this vision, the purpose of this role is to grow the sale of my client's landscapes products in the UK, through proven sales experience, excellent technical knowledge of hard landscaping products and fantastic contacts in the industry.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager- Landscape are:

  • Work closely with the Director of Sales in the strategic growth of the landscape brand in the UK.
  • Be responsible for the profitable development of the Landscape brand in line with targets
  • You will be required to support the continued growth of our project pipeline, with strong business development, client care and project management attributes
  • Identification and development of new customers and new market sectors, promoting various products and system opportunities.
  • Keep in contact with key clients and continue to build upon these relationships, whilst utilising your industry contact to further sales development.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Ability to build relationships across all disciplines.
  • Understand the dynamics of commercial supply chain from specification through to project delivery.
  • The ability to work as a proactive team player, with a can-do attitude.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate - willing to take an active role in the development and generation of creative new ideas
  • A working knowledge of Hard Landscaping is desirable.
  • Technically competent, with an ability to deliver product and system information to deliver a commercial benefit
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-up. Revit and BIM experience would be an advantage.
  • Excellent presentation skills are required as the role involves presenting to both Senior Directors / Managers within the company and its customer base.
