THE ROLE: As an Area Sales Manager in Scotland and Cumbria, your time will be focused on both managing / developing relationships with existing customers and the acquisition of new business opportunities. The route to market is largely through the Independent Retail Kitchen Showroom channel, however time can also be spent with DIY multiples and trade merchants. There is a healthy balance of large key accounts and smaller strong accounts to further grow.
THE PERSON: Working in an industry where relationships are essential, it is vital that you are a great relationship builder and have the hunger and dynamism to search for new contacts rather than reply purely on what is there at present. What you have sold previously isn't important, however selling tangible products to retail or trade merchants will be of interest. You will also need to be able to demonstrate how you have developed sales regions in previous roles.
THE COMPANY: This organisation works closely with their customer base and supplies highly design led, contemporary kitchen cupboard doors and associated kitchen furniture products. In addition, they have excellent customer and staff retention, and this is a crucial component of their ongoing success.
