Area to be covered: Scotland, Cumbria and Northumberland
Based: Central Belt (Scotland)
Remuneration: £35,000-£38,000 + circa £7,000 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Interior & External Doors will involve:
· Selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured range of garage and front doors for example: up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, front doors
· All of your time will be spent selling into national merchants, regional merchants, independent merchants, specialist garage & door merchants and wholesalers
· Taking over a successful patch targeted to achieve £3.5m-£4m next financial year
· Dealing with order values ranging from around £1k - £60k
· 70-80% of your time will be spent going after new business relationship and the remaining 20-30% will be managing and building on existing relationships
· Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants
· Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Interior & External Doors with:
· Proven track record of field based sales within the construction industry
· Must have a demonstrable track record of selling to national merchants, independent merchants, specialist merchants and ideally specialist wholesalers
· Experienced in sales of related products such as: up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, front doors, shutters
· Would consider somebody working for a merchant with related product experience
· Experience of developing long term relationships with clients
· Track record of stability within your career
· Genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic
· Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
