Area to be covered: Midlands and South Based: Midlands
Remuneration: £28,000 - £30,000 (Depending On Experience) + 20% bonus
Benefits: Fully Expensed Van & Full Benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Heating & Ventilation Products will involve:
· Field sales position promoting a manufactured and distributed range of heating and ventilation products such as: hand dyers, air curtain, ducting systems, electrical fans, exactor fans into the national / independent merchants, electrical wholesalers and distributors
· 100% of your time will be spent selling into electrical wholesalers, plumbers merchants, builders merchants, buying groups and distributors
· A small element of stimulating demand with plumbing & heating contractors and installers
· Managing circa 40+ branches on a regular call cycle dependent on activity
· The remaining portion of your time will be spent generating new business relationships to create year on year growth
· Will be required to carry out coffee morning, trade days and store promotions
· Occasional overnight stays maybe required
· Will report into the Key Account Manager, who will offer guidance and support

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Heating & Ventilation Products with:
· Must have construction field sales experience selling into plumbing & heating / builders merchants and electrical wholesalers
· Would consider somebody working in plumbing & heating / builders merchants and electrical wholesalers with some field sales responsibility
· Ideally used to stimulating demand with plumbing & heating contractors / installers
· Excellent territory time management and planning skills
· Ideally have good knowledge of the plumbing & heating market and know competitor movements
· Determined nature, team player with stability
· Proactive approach and strong communicator
· Fantastic customer service skills and experience
· CRM proficient, high level of ability in terms of numeracy, IT capability, communication and organisational skills
