Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Glazing Systems

Area to be covered: Midlands, Wales & Anglia

Ideally based: Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + £6,000 - £8,000 bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed company car + benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Glazing Systems will involve:

  • Area Sales Manager position selling a high quality range of secondary glazing systems
  • Your time will be spilt evenly selling to trade and commercial
  • Generating specification with architects, designers and following that through to main contractors 
  • Dealing with window installers, main contractors, window manufacturers, specialist sub-contractors
  • Achieving approximately £500k per annum in turnover on commercial projects only
  • Order value can range from £25k-£350k+ depending on size and scope
  • Majority of your time will be going after new business however will inherit some trade account depending on location

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager – Glazing Systems experience with:

·         Must have glazing systems experience or technical related product such as: glazing, window hardware, architectural hardware, balustrades etc

·         Ideally have sales experience however would consider somebody “on the tools” with extensive window installation / systems knowledge

·         Ideally have commercial experience dealing with architects, consultants and following it through to main / sub-contractors

·         Ideally worked for OR sold to the trade

·         Must have the tenacity to generate new business relationships

·         Doesn’t want a plodder, wants a real doer with tons of personality

·         Driven, hungry and ambitious
