Area to be covered: East Midlands & South Yorkshire

Remuneration: £30,000 - £32,000 + bonus giving OTE £38,000-£48,000

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Floor & Wall Panels will involve:

·         Field sales position selling a high quality range of manufactured floor & wall panelling systems

·         65% of your time will be focused on selling directly into the distribution channels via national merchants and independent merchants, national buying groups, showrooms and retailers

·         The remaining 35% of your time will be spent generating specification / selling directly to social housing, housing associations, developers, specifiers main contractors, sub-contractors

·         Inheriting a well-established territory turning over £2.5m-£3m

·         Majority your time will be spent managing existing accounts and the remaining portion developing new business relationships

·         Average order value can range anything between £100-£50k

·         Working closely with customer service team and marketing staff to maximise revenue

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Floor & Wall Panels with:

·         Must have worked for OR sold to national merchants, independent merchants, national buying groups, showrooms and retailers

·         Would look at someone with no merchant experience if you’ve to a mixed route to market via contractors and distribution

·         Ideally selling a KBB however open to any building product such as: panels, panelling, bathroom products, kitchens, wall coverings, tiles, floor, paint, wall tiles, wallpaper (very open on products sold)

·         Ideally have knowledge or sold to social housing, housing associations, developers, specifiers main contractors, sub-contractors (not essential)

·         If you know the products you don’t have to be from a sales background

·         Hungry, approachable and strong planning skills
