The Role: As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for business targets and performance across the whole of Scotland, North East England, and North/West/East Yorkshire. Initially there will be an emphasis in the acquisition of new business in this currently slightly underperforming region. A great opportunity exists to grow a territory with enormous potential - focussing on selling cheeses, olives, seafoods and other luxury foods of the highest quality to independent retailers, farm shops, delis, gift shops, tourist attractions etc.
The Person: To be considered for this position, you should have experience selling food to independent retail or have another b2b sales background but have a passion for quality food. You will need to be of high energy and be comfortable seeking out new contacts and business to form new working relationships with.
£28,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary
£10,000+ Realistic Bonus OTE
Company Car + Fuel Card or Car Allowance of £5300 pa
