Area to be covered: South East                                       

Remuneration: £38,000-£40,000 + commission giving OTE circa £55,000-£60,000

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Doorsets & Joinery Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling high quality manufactured range of doorsets such as: timber doors, fire doors, acoustic doors, internal & external doors, ironmongery
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling directly into sub-contractors with the remaining portion of your time focusing on main contractor relationships
  • There will be a very small element of specification sales via mainly architects
  • You will cover a thriving territory with huge growth potential
  • Majority of your time will be focused on generating new business relationships however a sizable portion of your time will be focused on managing existing business
  • Will inherit accounts on the South East territory currently managed from head office
  • Chance to be part of a growing business looking to double their turnover over the next 2 years through expansion and growth
  • Making 15-20 appointments per week spending 1-2 days per week scheduling your next week from home
  • Working closely with the Sales Director and sales team to achieve KPI and targets set

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager Door sets & Joinery Products experience with:

·         Must have a proven track record in construction field sales selling via main or sub-contractors (sub-contractors relationship more advantageous)

·         Ideally have experience securing framework agreement with main contractors

·         Must have a technically related product sales experience for example: joinery products, timber, timber doors, acoustic doors, door sets, window systems, locking systems and ironmongery

·         Knowledge of specification sales via architects and consultants would be advantageous however not essential

·         Commercially astute

·         Autonomous

·         Driven, Hungry, Ambitious
