The Role: This Area Sales Manager role is to sell to design engineers, Maintenance Managers and business owners in a mainly account management role. You will be calling on OEM's and industrial end users, focusing on sales of their geared motors, with some time spent looking for new business and cross selling drive electronics and automation services. Extensive training is provided for the new Area Sales Manager, both in the UK and in Europe.

: This company has, over the last forty years, cemented a reputation for the provision of products unmatched in quality and versatility. Their extensive range of automation solutions includes motion controllers, PLCs, closed loop systems and the associated accessories, which are sold to end users, OEMs and via a distribution network. They are currently looking to recruit a new Area Sales Manager to cover the Yorkshire & North East region.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Field sales track record
  • You will have a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering and have previously worked as a maintenance electrician or controls engineer
  • Driven and resilient sales people with excellent territory management and relationship building skills
