Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Aluminium System Fabricators

Area to be covered: London & South East
Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 Neg. + £6,000-£15,000 Commission
Benefits: Car or Car Allowance and full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Aluminium System Fabricators will involve:
· Field sales position selling a high end manufactured range of architectural aluminium windows & doors and curtain walling systems
· Selling predominantly into aluminium fabricators, but also main contactors
· You will be responsible for aluminium fabricators across the South East
· 70% account management role, 30% new business development recruiting new aluminium fabricators
· £2.5m revenue responsibility, established area
· Area has historically performed well against budget expectation
· Typical projects include education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education
· Working closely with other field sales professionals who are responsible for winning specifications with architects and also managing the trade and retail customers
· Utilising in-house CRM system
· Project sizes from £250,000, up to £1m+
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Aluminium System Fabricators with:
· Aluminium systems or fenestration industry experience
· Must have sold to aluminium fabricators
· Proven track record in field sales within the aluminium systems, may also consider an estimator looking to progress into field sales
· Must have sold associated products such as; aluminium windows & doors, curtain wall, rainscreen cladding, architectural aluminium, panels, external wall insulation and other building envelope systems
· Contacts within aluminium fabricators may be advantageous
· Relationship building/ account management skills
· Comfortable with a technical sell
· Ability to sell on quality over price
· Tenacious, people person with bags of personality
