This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion and the successful Area Sales Manager will be reporting to the Channel Manager. You’ll join their team which is dedicated to motorisation for Blinds, Curtains and Awnings along with Smart Home – our own connected solution that integrates Somfy products with 3rd party products. 

You will be expected to manage existing customers whilst finding and developing new business opportunities with assemblers and retailers therefore an ambitious, confident and professional individual with excellent customer relationship management skills is required.

 

As the main point of contact, you will build relationships, understand the needs of your customers and you’ll ensure that we are giving each customer the highest level of support and coaching to sell the Somfy range. This will include training on a one-to-one or group basis and technical support both on-site and over the phone.

Proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit you’ll thrive on the chance to work independently and develop the commercial position of Somfy in the South West. Your background could be within a solution led or project led sales environment and you will need:

  • A degree ideally in Marketing/Business/Economics.

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with the ambition to further develop.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 

  • Enthusiasm, superb relationship skills, ambition and an eye for detail.

  • Tech-savvy, with an interest in new technology.
