THE ROLE: The role of Area Sales Manager is an enviable opportunity for an accomplished Account Manager to inherit an existing base of loyal customers and increase sales within these accounts. Covering the South West and South Wales region, in the role of Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for liaising with merchants and distributors at all levels from regional directors to counter staff. This role is around 70% distribution management dealing with both nationals and independents builders merchants through to plumbing and heating merchants and industrial distributors.
THE CANDIDATE: To be considered for the role you must be able to show experience of selling into merchants or hire stores at interview. If you have sold into electrical wholesalers, industrial distributors or builders merchants, you could also be right for this role. Your structured approach to business coupled with your can-do attitude will also make you the ideal candidate for this opportunity.
