The Role: Based in the North of England, the new Area Sales Manager will purely be selling into the OEM marketplace, typically acting as a tier 2/3 supplier. You will be operating in a role which is an even split between account management and business development, talking to purchasing managers, company directors and sometimes design engineers. Full product and systems training is on offer to the successful area sales manager here. The Company: Market leaders in the UK, this company enjoys a sales turnover of £40 million and is growing through acquisition. They distribute a full line card of electronic components such as LEDs, resistors, batteries, semi-conductors and capacitors, and are now expanding their sales team with this search for a new Area Sales Manager.
For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You must be comfortable selling to buyers, engineers and business directors
Driven sales people who are KPI-lead will do well here
