Package: £35,000 to £40,000 + OTE £50,000 + Fully Expensed Company Car + Package

The house build side of Ellis predominantly supplies kitchen solutions into regional developers across the UK. Long gone are the days of “just” supplying our customers direct with a kitchen, our sales roles now are much more complex and more of a “total kitchen solution” sale, consulting with a myriad of connections within a cross section of customers and influencers.
Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, this home based position will take responsibility for the North East region to strengthen and deepen our existing business relationships, and also to develop new business opportunities. Ours is a longer term sales process, projects can be developed over 12 to 18 months – so a patient, highly organised business developer with first class relationship building skills is essential. You must be able to manage multiple levels of contacts throughout these project based sales cycles, influencing from inception to delivery and installation. You will work in conjunction with an Installation Manager to manage this process, and develop relationships from architect-specifiers to interior designers and the developers themselves.

If so then we are looking for someone from a complex, solution sale background, if that’s in furniture then fantastic but we also recognise that skill sets from aligned industries such as construction, KBB, office furniture, or more classic B2B sales and even FMCG are just as applicable with the right personality and mindset. Ideally graduate calibre, bright, highly personable and with real drive and ambition to win and succeed we will support you with a full project management team from our Huddersfield Head Office. A keen eye or flair/interest in design and an understanding of “the living environment” would be very useful although not essential. Definitely a challenging role but hugely rewarding and working for a quality and customer service led business.
