An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to cover the central belt of Scotland. The position carries a package worth in excess of £55K.
THE ROLE: of Area Sales Manager will see you selling into an extremely receptive client base in the Scottish Region. As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for 60% account management on patch. Liaising with all main and sub-contractors your role will be to make sure you are abreast of all projects in the region. With order sizes ranging in value from £2K to £50K an area target will be devised by yourself with your line manager to make sure that as Area Sales Manager for the M.8 corridor and surrounding regions, you are being the most successful that you can be.
THE PERSON: With a strong working knowledge of the geographical region, your sales skills will already be defined with regards to dealing with main and sub-contractors. As full product training will be given you do not need to be from a field within construction, however, you will be fully confident in developing relationships with main and sub-contractors. Confident, personable and with a strong desire to succeed will be just some of the attributes that the successful candidate will possess.
