Area Business Manager - Medical Consumables - £28 - 40k + 20-30k OTE

THE ROLE: Within hospitals the successful Area Business Manager will be managing key clinical and commercial relationships in theatre, critical care, urology, cardiology, gynae etc and procurement, typically liaising with consultants, surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre managers, engineers and nurses. You will look after a portfolio of medical devices and consumables- including stents, catheters, suction and vascular access. You will be focussed on winning new relationships and business in addition to defending their market share.
THE PERSON: Candidates will preferably have a proven medical devices / consumables sales track record, ideally with a healthy new business element. Those who have worked in a new business focused b2b sales role with a passion to enter the medical industry will also be considered. Full product training will be given and career / earning prospects are attractive.
