Technical Area Manager – Subsidence Solutions

Job Title: Technical Area Manager – Subsidence Solutions

Industry Sector: Subsidence, Resin Injections, Resins, Stabilisation, Sinkholes, Non-Disruptive Subsidence, Piling, Contractors, Structural Reinforcement

Area to be covered: South London and Southern Home Counties

Remuneration: £45,000 - £49,000 

Benefits: Company Car + Excellent Full Benefits Package

The role of the will involve Technical Area Manager – Subsidence Solutions:

  • Technical area role selling our clients range of ground support subsidence solutions for a range of applications such as structural support, water sealing, ground reinforcement, sinkholes for mainly residential projects
  • The majority of your time will be dealing with inbound queries through home owners conducting site visits, preparing quotes and solutions, then following this through to delivery
  • A small portion of your time will be concentrating on dealing with local authorities through the social housing sector
  • Taking over a successful patch currently on target to turnover circa £900k and looking to grow this year on year
  • Average order value of projects can range from £3k-£20k
  • Majority on your time will be spent generating new business relationship through inbound queries, however on this patch there are 3 major key accounts that we need to be carefully managed
  • Being able to plan, develop and execute technical seminars and presentations on related company products
  • Spending on average 4 days on the road with 1 day admin at home office
  • Will receive circa 6 opportunities per day

The ideal applicant will be a Civil Sales Engineer - Technical Area Manager – Subsidence Solutions experience with:

·         Must have experience in building industry selling a technical service or solution into the residential market OR have experience with sound knowledge of subsidence damage in a technical role such as piling sub-contractor, subsidence insurance personnel 

·         Ideally have knowledge of subsidence solutions

·         Ideally have civil engineering qualifications such as NHBC

·         Must be a people person with great customer service skills

·         Self-starter, hit the ground running mentality individual
