We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Application Development Engineer to join our IT team, who will participate in the full development lifecycle of our core applications, such as requirement gathering, technical design/architecture, software implementation, system and integrated testing and live application support.
This role will be location independent working from home with some travel to our Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells offices, where you will be leading the software implementation effort and supporting the necessary system testing and application maintenance as 3rd line technical support for our internal and client facing applications.
This role will allow you to develop new features/applications in response to the overall business development agenda and strategy, whilst contributing to our flagship development activity involving extensive development and customisation of MS Dynamics CRM platform if required.
You will also have the opportunity to lead on internal development projects, including technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API/REST, SQL Server, as well as being able to provide an independent perspective on how to improve our understanding/interpretation of business requirements, systems design and architecture, and development/QA processes.
Our team operate within a highly agile, quality-driven development process, where you would take responsibility for timely delivery of high quality technical assets.
You will have a BSc or higher/equivalent degree in computer science/software engineering, with relevant experience and a proven track record in Web application development using Microsoft technology stack utilising ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API/REST, SQL Server.
You must also have a passion and interest in user-centred design methodologies, and it would be desirable to have experience in MS Dynamics CRM, Azure.
