Job description: 

 

Account Manager / Sales Executive for an established Software Solutions company based in north Birmingham. The company specialise in Software solutions(Partner, bespoke and tailored), Training, Support and Consultancy.

We are looking for a professional, driven and experienced Account Manager (AM). This varied role will see the candidate looking for new business opportunities within the existing customer base and nurturing existing customer relationships.

This is primarily an Outbound phone-based role with an Inbound element.

 

Duties include;

·         To generate new business for the company by making outbound calls

·         To renew all current customer contracts

·         Actively upsell and cross-sell all opportunities

·         To enter and update customer information on our CRM system

·         Call customers from a variety of data lists as well as creating your own leads

·         Adhere to company KPIs

·         Identify sales opportunities and manage your own diary and pipeline

·         Work with the wider team to assist in closing sales

·         Close deals or pass over qualified leads to a consultant to close

·         Book and provide business scoping services to customers

·         Answer customer queries via telephone, email, technical leads and website with exceptional customer service

·         Work specific targeted campaigns to close deals

·         To take on board any training recommendations and implement into your own sales techniques

·         You will be working to margins and targets across a range of products and services including:

o    Cross-sell and Upsell existing and new clients

o    Support (Accounts/Payroll/CRM/HR) Renewals & New

o    Upgrades for all software packages

o    Training/Consultancy

o    BI

o    Development (ASE Add-ons and Bespoke)

o    CRM

o    Implementation

o    Additional software sales and accessories

Job Requirements;

Relevant experience of previous sales or account management would be useful especially for software, eg, 1 years previous Account Management / Sales / Inside Sales / Telesales experience

              Degree or equivalent, ideally 2:1 or above

              Follow company policies and procedures to the best of your abilities

              Have a flexible attitude

              Perseverance

              Personable

              Rapport building and excellent relationship management skills

              Willingness to learn

              Eager to progress
