The role is a challenging one with customers who demand world class service pre-sale, during and post-sale however we don’t do this as individuals. The team you will be working with includes subject matter experts, commercial support, legal support and all the training you will need to accompany your desire to succeed.

Our customers use our technology to improve the services they deliver to the public on a daily basis, they share information faster and more securely than ever before, they use technology to save money and time and we need the best people to join our team to ensure that each and every customer understands the capabilities of the BTBPS team and portfolio.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be the primary interface between BT and approx. 12 large scale public sector customers, responsible for sales, pipeline management, forecasting and customer satisfaction


Achieve new business sales targets in line with your accounts and opportunities

* Creating opportunities right across BT and EE's world class portfolio of products

* Managing a multi-million pound pipeline of opportunity and creating opportunity and account development plans using TAS/Altify methodology

* Forecasting sales closure accurately using Salesforce CRM

* Acquiring business from our competitors & growing the BT wallet share

* Managing customer satisfaction to the highest levels

* Knowledgeable of public sector frameworks, market drivers and buying behaviours

* Managing, maintaining and growing relationships to CXXX leve to increase customer satisfaction

Educated to degree level or equivalent


Leadership, the ability to lead a team/virtual team to win new business


Commercial acumen and sound account management experience


Strong communication and interpersonal skills


An ability to develop productive working relationships


A hunger to deliver results and drive our business forwards
