Account Manager – Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Job Title: Account Manager – Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Industry Sector: KBB, Regional House Builders, National House Builders, Private Developers and Builders

Area to be covered: East Midlands, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 Neg. + £5,000 Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed Audi A4 & Full Benefits

The role of the Account Manager – Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms will involve:

·         Field sales role selling our clients manufactured range of KBB - kitchens, bedroom (wardrobes) and bathroom vanity units and free standing furniture

·         100% account management position, responsible for approx. 15 regional offices of national housebuilders / private developers and large regional housebuilders

·         Managing KBB national agreements at branch level with customers such as Redrow and Miller Homes etc.

·         Feedback on market intelligence

·         Managing all key elements from sales, estimating, production, project management, customer care etc.

·         Promoting new products and resolving customer issues

·         Developing a sales plan to target specific customer groups

·         Four days a week on the road, typically Friday’s are used for administration

·         Lots of site visits (typically every 3-4 weeks) working closely with the Installation Manager as well as approx. one-two regional office visits per day

·         Tracking specification throughout and ensuring that projects run smoothly and work is completed on time and that all quality standards are met

·         Responsible for a new territory which has been created through company growth, with an expected turnover next year of circa £3m

 

The ideal applicant will be an Account Manager – Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms with:

·         Proven field sales / territory management experience within the KBB industry

·         Must have sold either kitchens, bedrooms or bathroom furniture

·        Either sold to housebuilder / private developers or a field based retail background

·         Farmer mentality, must have ability to build relationships and manage customer accounts

·         Preferable on the up in career, no journey men

·         Ability to read construction /design drawings
