About this role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our North West Sales Team covering the key private sector accounts.

Our team consists of highly experienced professionals that help our most strategic customers define and address their most complex technological and business challenges. We focus on the outcome and impact to our client needs and develop strong relationships to forge new opportunities.

We need you to identify and target new opportunities within an already established base of 7 accounts, accelerating the key objectives for our clients through technology, driving our partners and support functions to further enhance the experience of our clients and deliver business outcomes that increase customer satisfaction.

Your experience and knowledge will help deliver a step change in our approach and capability. You will be pivotal in setting the agenda for our clients and also for our own business, in a way that enables us to increase our market share in the most efficient and effective way.

Supported by a team of business development, specialists, solution architects, service designers, product managers, and bid resource, you will have all the means required to be a highly successful addition to the private sector team.

You'll have the following responsibilities

* Developing successful, sustainable and profitable long-term relationship with customers, this includes effective senior leadership team escalations where appropriate
* Developing a strong understanding of the customer’s requirements and transformational roadmap
* Ensure robust account development plans exist for each customer accurately portraying the competitive landscape and how BT is positioned within it
* Deliver commercially sound complex customer solutions/managed services whilst maintaining a positive experience for customers
* Enabling customer satisfaction improvements, increasing NPS within the account
* Define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy
* Managing New Sales elements of P&L for the account base, including how budgets are aligned and used for resourcing to win new business

You'll have the following skills & experience

* Successful track record in delivering sales account across corporate accounts, with addressable spend over £1m.
* Proven track record of profitably retaining, developing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts - achieving/exceeding business targets, expressed in terms of revenue, new product revenue growth and customer satisfaction
* Able to continuously develop growth pipeline
* Demonstrable experience creating account/win plans for all re-sign and growth opportunities
* Capable of building multilayer relationships with customers - demonstrating knowledge across their business and their decision-making process to add value, becoming a trusted and valued partner
* Able to articulate the ability to hold customer meetings and dialogue which supports your retention and growth campaign - fronting all commercial & contractual activity and accurately record all sales activity on the central CRM system
