I'm currently recruiting a B2B account management and business development role. This role is based in brand new offices within Newcastle City Centre, you will be responsible for a portfolio of digital service products.

Client Details

My client is a national business within the digital sector and a premium Google partner. They are looking for an Account Manager (Internal) to join their team.

Description

As Account Manager (Internal), you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop a computerised CRM, customer and prospect database.
  • Up sell the business products & services.
  • Identify new markets and share your knowledge with the wider team.
  • Manage your customer base on a daily basis.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss and share the latest developments within the business.
  • Participate in monthly KPI's with a view to maintaining / improving sales performance.
  • Build and maintain long term business relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts in line with best practice policy and procedure.
  • Maintain communication with existing customers to maximise on volume and margin.
  • Deal with customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage prices to ensure you achieve weekly customer targets and increased profitability.
  • Ensure data input into CRM is accurate and in accordance with company policy.

Profile

The successful Account Manager (Internal) will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record in a B2B environment.
  • Experience of managing and further developing customer accounts.
  • Experience of internal/telesales would be hugely advantageous.
  • Digital knowledge and tech savvy.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong communication skills; verbal, written and listening.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships over the phone.
  • Professional, ethical approach.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player but also able to work on own initiative and be proactive.
  • Self-motivated.
  • IT literate.
  • Commutable to office base in City Centre, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
