Business Development Sales Executive – ERP/Resource planning software
£65k Basic, £130k OTE uncapped + Healthcare, Pension, Critical illness cover, Car or car allowance.
Working from London Office.
Our Client is a FTSE 250 company with revenues exceeding £4bn. They have an enviable client base spanning multiple sectors with a presence in over 70 territories. Huge investment has been made in this division within product design, functionality and the product offering. The plan is to grow this business unit massively over the next 12 months with the professional sector as an area of focus for this role along with opening up new sectors in a structured manner.
We are looking for a Sales person to join our client and drive this opportunity forwards. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful Business Development applicant will be responsible for developing relationships with new prospects in a specific target area. You will work alongside marketing to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns, winning deal sizes in excess of £100K with a sales cycle between 3 and 18 months.
To apply, you must have a proven track record of over 5 years within the ERP/Resource planning software sales space. Ideally, you will have a background in sales within the professional services space as a vertical market. You will have excellent customer and solutions experience and be able to communicate effectively with senior decision makers. Experience dealing at C level is essential. You will be selling into large corporates and managing multiple stakeholders with a broad range of objectives mainly in the UK but may involve some European travel, experience of working in this environment is highly preferential.
