An excellent account management opportunity with an ever growing business in the unfiform and garments industry. This role contains a strong balance of growing and maintaining existing business, as well as prospecting for new business and capitalising on new sales opportunities.

The role of Account Manager covers all channels of Distribution, and whilst there are similarities between channels, the customer requirements do differ. The role activities are therefore split between channels. Primarily B2B, the account base is diverse, from market stallholders to multi branch retailers, accounts with a t/o of £1m down to £2,000.
Reporting to the Sales Director this is a role for someone who is self-motivated and exceptionally organised. Although target driven, (the account base is split between 60% existing business and 40% new business), the majority of increases come from penetration within the customer account. However, there will be a necessity to cold call and prospect on a regular basis. Identification of gatekeepers will be essential in breaking through boundaries.
