My client is looking to recruit an Account Manager who will be responsible for nurturing and growing business across the UK. This role is suitbale for someone with an outsource solutions background only.

A business who have created a fantastic workplace for the employees and live and breath their values. My client specialises in in outsourcing and providing businesses total solutions. They cover call centre, mail, print, digital, admin, payment processing and data hosting.


  • Develop and continually refine strategic account plan that demonstrates and integrates in-depth knowledge of client, sector(s)

  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of all services and associated technology/innovation within the multi-channel data/customer communications market

  • Understand and capture client organisation structure and key positions.

  • Develop and maintain client relationship up to and including senior executive level

  • Ensure timely, accurate and concise communication of all client issues and opportunities to relevant management

  • Present, negotiate and close (through formal presentation and informal dialogue with client) new services and extend existing services that ensure full penetration of all applicable business offerings

  • Develop, present, track, and report sales pipeline of new business/growth opportunities as required to assist achievement of client strategy, objectives and growth goals

  • Analyse, prepare and present Management Information Packs to client and if required, management

  • Achieve annual revenue budget through the responsibilities above, to include aligning client drivers with full scope of services

  • Financial management to include monitoring of client payment behaviour and ensure timely payment of monthly invoices

  • Initiate innovation programme to develop future opportunity pipeline and ensure client perception of the business as forward thinking

  • Proactive approach to business and client challenges, problem solving and growth opportunities

  • Sales and negotiation skills as required to identify, communicate, negotiate and close new business opportunities (and renewals) with senior client stakeholders

  • Thorough understanding of the multi-channel customer communications market to include legacy, current and projected applications, services and solutions. This includes offshore BPO services


  • Strong, proven leadership skills with competent people management ability to influence others and support strategic and associated organisational change

  • Ability to establish and develop senior client relationships to enable in-depth understanding of account dynamics, market influences and business requirements

  • Confident communicating at all client levels with experience of broadening communication channels and developing processes to facilitate the exchange of information among internal and external groups

  • Ability to provide analysis, strategic planning and articulation of performance/financial results and deliver these within the weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cycle

  • Written & presentational skills as required to communicate business performance, financial results and strategic (sales) proposals to senior client and stakeholders

  • Team and people management skills as required to build high performing account team(s) ensuring collaborative working within internal and client organisations

Job Offer

  • £40,000 - £50,000
  • £5,000 Car allowance
  • 10% bonus
