Account Manager – £25,000 to £50,000 DOE – Fleet, Hampshire

The Role

KHIPU Networks are looking for a motivated and driven Account Manager to help bring new business to their rapidly growing company. You will be able to engage with prospects and customers, whether on the phone, face to face or written, and position KHIPU’s products and solutions, all the way through to the actual sale as well as on-going customer account management.

This is a challenging and varied role and will only suit a self-motivated individual wishing to develop their sales abilities and earn a high salary through successful wins. Full training is given both internally and externally on our products, solutions and customer references. This role involves travel within the UK, and it is a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales career.

The key responsibilities of an Account Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Playing an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
  • Taking responsibility for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Writing business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
  • Acting as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
  • Exceeding agreed targets for new business wins and achievable KPI activity as set by the company

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Account Manager:

  • Proven experience in working closely with customers, building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to demonstrate your understanding of the sales cycle, engaging with all stakeholders during the process, from customers to suppliers to senior management
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with competence in written dialogue (e.g. internal and customer emails)
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a professional and polite disposition at all times
  • Possesses a good understanding of MS office
  • Outgoing, open minded, motivated and enthusiastic who enjoys working with a team, displaying both keenness and aptitude
