A small but rapidly growing business services company which takes to market a marketing related product, is looking to for an Account Manager to join their ambitious business.
The business is market leading in its specialist, niche field. It has an enviable market position – it is creative, disruptive and early to the market with its services, which means it has an amazing client base, full of blue-chip customers, that it can use as an evidence base to drive further grow.
This role is new, created to deliver further growth for the business from within the account management team. You will report to a Sales Director and be asked to manage a portfolio of accounts that have early trading relationships with the business but have great potential to grow. Your role will be to nurture those accounts, deepening the relationships and securing new opportunities for the business to provide its services. The role will work to targets, being expected to deliver revenue growth across its portfolio.
The role will also be asked to convert leads generated by the new business development team, establishing from scratch new accounts for the business so presenting and closing skills will also be required.
To apply you to the role you should have a stable career background which has included some delivery in B2B sales roles, in either account management or new business. Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent, your experience should include some sales experience delivering a service or a complex product.
As the role delivers a service, the role requires people who have exceptional communication skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail and an organised approach to managing deadlines.
