The purpose of the role is to engage the client, take full responsibility for all aspects, develop the quality of the relationship and grow the business. You are required to identify, develop and execute against all available opportunities.
What you'll be doing
The role also involves identifying and engaging senior client stakeholders and individuals in associated influencing bodies to ensure we maximise the available opportunity. BT have a wide portfolio that can be articulated in many ways, this role involves you creating compelling business level propositions that address the full market opportunity.
Being creative is essential, researching the customers’ business goals and our emerging technologies to create innovate and exciting new solutions that help the client lead in their field.
Furthermore you will be required to manage the existing business and ensure we migrate it to the next phases of technology. The role involves leading a complex matrix of resources that need effectively organising to bring maximum impact to the customer and communication across this group is key.

Relevant experience in the sales function.
Strong customer presentation skills.
Excellence in Sales Administration.
Business level understanding of the role networking, fixed and mobile telecoms plays in the Public Sector.
An architectural knowledge of the overall IT estate within a large organisation; applications, cloud, datacentre, unified comms fixed and mobile telecoms.
