My client are leading association specialising in helping and supporting staff throughout the UK. They have now grown to over 70,000 member and are looking to expand this membership base even further with the help of you. The Account manager role will focus on further developing partnerships and ensuring partners renew .
Based in Central London, they have an open plan office with a supportive team. I placed the Head of Sales into this organisation and this role would sit within her team. Their core membership has historically been IT/engineering, however, they have launched into lots of new sectors and have brought partners on board from the creative, care, acting, financial sectors. They have no competitors in their field and provide a large number of invaluable benefits to their membership base which has tripled in numbers in the last 2 years, growing from 22,000 to 74,000
This organisation has continued growth plans this year so they are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to be a part of that. In order to do this, the account Manager will need to work with new organisations and create and maintain lasting relationships.
The role will be very face to face so they encourage you to be out of the office as much as possible, meeting with senior decision makers
Clients will be: any business that employs a large number of freelancers/contractors or any industry that would want to sell to the self-employed e.g. universities, recruitment companies, accountancy providers
The Account Manager must have:
An ideas person who can suggest new ways of working and how to ensure membership retention is kept at a high
The successful Account Manager will receive
£30,000-40,000 + commission
