About the role

It's an exciting time to be joining us in one of our dynamic Account Executive (AE) teams here at Virgin Media Business (VMB). The Public Sector AE will be passionate about driving growth through new business development and existing named customers. You'll have a hunger to achieve targets and key objectives in line with the Business Markets plan, whilst building a credible platform for future achievements. The AE would be required to qualify all opportunities in the pipeline, using company sales methodologies and developed into an accurate forecast.

To ensure you’re on the right track there will be set key performance indicators and sales targets which you’ll hit through generation of new revenue within each account. Partner management and teamwork is key for this role, as the AE needs to build and nurture relationships with customers and cross functional peers in order to drive forward and succeed.

The must haves:

* Experience of delivering agreed revenue targets and important metrics as defined by the divisional strategy and tactical activity plans.
* Ability to persuade and influence senior partners, both internally and externally with strong commercial focus.
* Previous experience in a Public Sector Account Executive position, with knowledge across the North East.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior business partners.

Other stuff we're looking for:

* Can provide examples of previous success stories regarding development of relationships and ability to deliver incredible value to the customer
* Understanding VMB’s product portfolio on a value, technical and commercial basis and can articulate a sophisticated set of voice, data and Internet services into tangible benefit to our customers
* Proven examples of collaboration and interaction with internal teams across the business.
