For our projects division which is entirely dedicated to project business in commercial projects, we are looking for a Specification Sales Manager who will be driving the sales of our project business channel by educating and developing the market on dynamic shading solutions and ensuring Somfy solutions are prescribed, specified and converted into sales.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales budget by identifying projects (leads) and converting these into orders by working closely with the Business Development Manager.
• Lead the specification process and ensure Somfy solutions and services are adopted and specified.
• Conduct market analysis.
• Develop and educate the market by delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders, Architects and Specifiers.
• Develop and nurture relationships with industry architects and consultants.
• Represents and establishes Somfy as a thought leader and a leading market player by attending industry-specific events.
• Play a key role in converting realised projects into case studies, testimonials and referrals.

Qualifications and experience:

• Graduate calibre.
• Minimum 2 years of exposure selling to Architects and Specifiers ideally within an M&E environment.
• Proven track record in commercial/specification sales.
• Have a strong existing network and relationships with project developers, contractors, architects, and consultancy firms.
• Experience with working in an international organisation in a technically oriented industry.
• Good knowledge of technical products (e.g. electrical installations);
• Familiar with CRM systems (e.g. SalesForce).
• A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders – influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
• An enthusiastic and creative speaker with the ability to inspire others.
