Internal Sales Representative
Needham Market, Suffolk
£16,000 - £18,000 DOE Plus Pension, Life Assurance, 33 Days Holiday (including bank holidays), Lifestyle Benefits Package

As a world leading manufacturer of electrofusion fittings, fully automatic butt fusion machines, control boxes and PE pipe jointing Tooling; our client is one of the UKs leading distributors to the utility sector. With a range of industry awards, they are also one of the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 Top 10 companies to watch. An opportunity has now arisen for an Internal Sales Representative to join their team.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, as an Internal Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving sales of our clients products.

This will include preparing quotations, tracking projects and following up sales, generating profitable business for the company. Your other duties will include:

- Exceeding customers needs with regard to communications and delivery
- Supporting the internal and external sales team
- Identifying opportunities to expand the customer base, products and services
- Undertaking customer and supplier visits, providing technical support and helping to build effective relationships

To be considered for this position, you must at a minimum, posses GCSEs (or equivalent), at grade C or above, in Maths and English. You must have a proven track record in sales coupled with the ability to provide quotes for jobs. You must also be fully IT literate.

As an Internal Sales Representative you must have an enthusiastic approach, strong communication skills and a good level of commercial awareness to ensure the provision of quality customer service is maintained.

Whilst not essential, sales administration experience would be advantageous. Any experience gained within the utilities sector would also be beneficial to your application.
