New Business Development Executives

£18k basic, £30k OTE plus other benefits

Simply Online Services Ltd have been leading the way in the niche online recruitment sector since 2003.

Operating out of Preston the company owns and operates 12 of the UK's leading niche job boards.

We are continuing to grow and have plans for more product launches in 2008. To help us grow we need good sales people to work for us, so what type of person do we look for? We need people who are energetic, innovative and never settle for second best. In return we offer excellent

The Role: This position will include the following responsibilities:

  • To generate your own leads as well as act upon leads given by the marketing team
  • Effectively sell our range of recruitment advertising products that best suit your clients needs
  • Negotiate rates with prospective clients
  • Account Manage your portfolio of clients
  • To make 2 hours of phone calls, (account management and new business) a day.
  • To achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs as set by Sales and Marketing Management.
  • The role will be mainly phone based but as relationships develop there will be opportunities to increase the level of contact

Key skills and experience required:

  • Excellent telephone sales skills find need, objection handling, negotiation, closing
  • Tenacity
  • Able to build relationships over the telephone
  • Proven track record of working within a target driven environment and achieving these targets consistently
  • Good time management
  • Commercial acumen
  • PC literate

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Motivation to succeed, enthusiasm, drive and great communication skills are essential.
  • Sales experience.
  • Confident and proactive approach to work.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to command respect amongst senior decision makers.
  • The ability to use and master internal systems.
  • A general understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
