Area Sales Manager

Lektronix Ltd is a large, successful, international and rapidly expanding industrial electronic repair company. Due to our continued international growth we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our winning team.
In the short time we have been operating Lektronix has established branches in Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Dubai and the Czech Republic as well as continued growth within the UK.
We are looking for someone based in the East of England, as you will be required to travel around this area.
Duties of the Area Sales Manager:
The position of Area Sales Manager will involve sourcing new customers for Lektronix and introducing yourself and the company, making sure that this initial contact is followed up as soon as possible. Development of existing customer relationships will also be vital, in order to make sure that clients use Lektronix for all their spares and repairs needs.
The successful Area Sales Manager candidate will need to make sure that all UK customers know about, and use, the full range of services Lektronix offers. They will also need to make sure that all customers receive a timely service and are happy with the work carried out in every aspect.
As Areas Sales Manager, you will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets consistently and plan and manage a geographical area of the UK to make sure the potential of the area is reached month after month.
Area Sales Manager Requirements:
The ideal Area Sales Manager candidate will be self-motivated and extremely enthusiastic with an unstoppable will to succeed. They must possess excellent organisational skills and an opportunistic personality, making the most out of the smallest opportunities. They should be charismatic and enjoy interaction with all types of people.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in manufacturing sales
- Driven and self-motivated
- Extremely Enthusiastic
- Organised
- Technical Background (Ideal, but not essential)
- Computer literate
Ideally a technical background would be preferable (but is not essential). However the successful candidate will have a PROVEN track record of success in a manufacturing sales environment, and a high level of computer literacy.
Salary: GBP18000 - GBP24000 OTE GBP34000 benefits
