Nuclear Power Security Sales


Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading providing of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management.

The Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) business provides support to ACS Strategic Business Units in the areas of security and life safety solutions for a variety of demanding customers around the globe.

We are looking for an experienced senior sales professional to lead efforts to build upon our success in the nuclear energy and associated industries and the responsibilities will include:

  • Support Honeywell's business development and sales efforts to sell Products and Services to US and international nuclear power plants and related industries
    • Develop and qualify list of global sales opportunities
    • Build relationships with local account managers, sales and regional management, technical consultants, and other Honeywell functional groups, as well as alliance partners and key suppliers increase Honeywell's overall success rate, share and profitability of nuclear security projects
    • Develop and execute sales and estimating strategies; working with CIP support team, SBU management, and key partners to develop project execution plans for key security pursuits, while adhering to ACS estimating, risk, and contracting review procedures
    • Act as focal point of accountability for key tactical pursuits and coordination of resources. This efforts will be done in close coordination with local SBU management
  •  Assist in creation of market approach strategy
  • Serve as Honeywell single point of contact for designated JV and other partners in cases where the relationship crosses business unit lines
  • Support development of technology roadmap, working in conjunction with Honeywell product marketing and technology development resources
  • Support marketing efforts, including trade shows
  • Communicate to leadership on a regular basis, forecasting activity, opportunity status, and other information as requested
  • Provide other support as needed to drive sales to this market
  • This position will be goaled and measured on total ACS sales to nuclear markets. Additional consideration will be given to success in driving non-ACS security-related sales in the region (e.g., HTSI, SM)
  • Demonstrable successful complex sales performance, preferably in high-end physical security
  • Deep knowledge of nuclear energy security, including global regulatory requirements
  • Relevant degree (BS, BA) or equivalent ten (10) years related work experience in designing Security Projects
  • Security Certifications...PSP, CPP, CMP, etc. is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of security design applications - specifically in the areas of access control, video surveillance, perimeter intrusion, and integrated security
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally
  • Ability to work and manage relationships with cross functional teams and across business units
  • Must have multi-tasking capabilities with strong ability to plan, prioritize and manage complex projects under aggressive timelines
  • Good communication, presentation, inter-personnel, and organizational skills
  • Technical Sales experience
  • A global mindset - and past exposure to global customers, initiatives, or programs
  • Must be able to travel extensively to customer sites and work with the local customer representatives.
