| My client is one of South Wales' leading entertainment venues. With a rich history for delivering strong customer service and class leading infrastructure they are looking for a Sales Director to increase footfall and exploit commercial opportunities The Sales Director's main task is to drive incremental revenue, third party relationships and ultimately the profitability of the venue. You will be responsible for generating new business to achieve an ambitious growth strategy and aspiration to become the most desired leisure attraction to visit in the UK. This role will have 2 direct reports: Operations Manager and Commercial Manager; your main tasks will involve:
You must be a strong communicator and be well versed with the Sales and Marketing strategies needed to drive customer and visitor numbers proactively. You will need a flexible approach to work in a fast paced and challenging environment and will be able to lead, motivate and inspire your team to deliver financial targets. My client is one of South Wales' leading entertainment venues and one of the UK's Top 10 Tourist attractions. With a rich history for delivering strong customer service and class leading infrastructure they are looking for a Sales Director to increase footfall and exploit commercial opportunities. Entertainment venues in the region enjoy strong tourist numbers as well as local visitors but is a highly competitive market. Your task will be to obtain market share on your competition through proactive selling and marketing of the venue and events to all potential markets. The Group that own the venue have a number of Global operations that could provide a long term career plan for a successful candidate.
