Wholesale Retail Sales and Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager / Retail Sales Account Director (Clothing, Shoes, Accessories)
SW London, £60 - £70k, OTE £90k, equity, bens

Working for a global online retail organisation the Wholesale Retail Sales and Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager / Retail Sales Account Director (Clothing, Shoes, Accessories) will develop enterprise merchant and manufacturing partner relationships, position the portal as a new sales channel and negotiate commercial terms with enterprise product vendors.

The Wholesale Retail Sales and Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager / Retail Sales Account Director (Clothing, Shoes, Accessories) will lead the end-to-end sales process, targeting retail organisations across multiple sectors to achieve acquisition targets; negotiate commercial terms with enterprise vendors; collaborate with internal teams to on-board enterprises, ensuring successful initiation and continuation of their trading activities; ensure the needs of largest target vendors are met by influencing the development of the portal services; manage external agencies to deliver results as necessary; apply strategy for enterprise acquisition for each category and prioritise prospects and leads accordingly; contribute to setting and agreement of targets for enterprise acquisition to support overall UK business goals and track and report regularly to executive stakeholders on performance.

Candidates for the Wholesale Retail Sales and Marketing Manager / Business Development Manager / Retail Sales Account Director (Clothing, Shoes, Accessories) role must have extensive experience of B2B retail business development within the fashion / clothing sector, channel development or partner development; developing sales & marketing strategies; building and managing sales teams; operating at FTSE 100 director level or equivalent; have strong negotiation and deal-closing experience and an ability to evaluate and analyse strategic opportunities and options. Candidates may come from a retain fashion buyer, retain merchandising, or brand representative and business development background, amongst others.
