Working for this market leading global brand, the Account Manager will be responsible for selling the menswear range into independent retail accounts.
Role Description
Working with a level of autonomy within your territory and existing portfolio, you will ultimately be responsible for driving and increasing revenue. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work with a strong global brand, that has aggressively marketed itself within the market place and is now starting reap the rewards. This role should be viewed as an exciting opportunity to develop and progress to a more senior role within an innovative fashion brand.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing an existing portfolio of independent retail accounts, including major clients
*In conjunction with the Commercial Director, you will set clear, defined and realistic revenue, profit and volume targets
*Manage and develop relationships within existing and new accounts
*Proactively network the brand within target clients
*Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and exploit these opportunities to grow revenue
*Project the brand professionally within the market place
*Align your account strategy with the overall marketing strategy of the brand
*Provide a consistent level of service and performance across all levels of the business
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced territory sales manager who ideally has previously worked in fashion/apparel, but this is not essential.
You will have a strong understanding of financial metrics including revenue stream, gross profit and volume targets and a clear commercial focus.
You will have the entrepreneurial skills to be able to identify which accounts are going to add value to the brand, but also meshing the innovative style the the brand portrays.
You will ideally have a track record in building a client base from scratch, or be motivated to go out and proactively network the brand amongst potential new clients.
With the necessary drive, commitment and dedication to grow in to a senior role, you will also need to be comfortable to work with a level of autonomy.
