£16,500 with OTE of £23,000

URGENT
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established, highly successful organisation and become part of the management team. An opportunity has now arisen to join the business as STORE MANAGER. The establishment has 53 stores nationwide, extensive website and mail order department. They specialise in power tools for both professionals and the enthusiasts.
Reporting to the Area Manager you will be responsible for an active sales performance, control of KPIs, maintenance of stock file, motivation of staff and staff supervision. You will also have a shared responsibility for recruitment and performance management, staff training and visual merchandising. Finally you will comply with operational practice, store development plan and H & S regulations.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven record of managing small teams and take a hands-on approach to your work. You must be able demonstrate the ability to work on your own, demonstrate an ability to advise in the technical product range and have an understanding and ability to use IT hardware and software. It is desirable you have previous retail management experience preferably in a hard goods environment, experience of running a sales campaign and experience of providing on-going training for team members.
