Hays Construction & Property are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant in our office in Birmingham, West Midlands, B3 2SL. This job within the Hays Specialist Recruitment group offers excellent earning potential, fast-track career progression and extensive training for those that can excel at sales.

You can expect a fast-paced sales environment where you will be responsible for managing your own desk with emphasis on developing strong business relationships, both with existing and prospective clients. You will be responsible for assignments from inception through to completion. From meeting with the clients, candidate sourcing and selection, tendering for business, career advice, to salary/contract negotiations. Ultimately you are responsible for the success of the business and your own achievements.
Skills Required:
At Hays we are looking for outstanding candidates who are able to demonstrate an ability to influence people and would take satisfaction in securing the right job for our candidates. You need to be well educated, as the role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. While this may suit someone of graduate calibre, a degree is not a mandatory requirement. We are more interested in your ability to build enduring business relationships and rapport with clients and candidates from a range of backgrounds. We seek those who respond positively to targets and are competitive by nature. Salary: £18K training package, £25 OTE first year
