Legal Recruitment Consultant Bristol
£24-46k basic + £60k OTE
Our client has over 25 years of experience in professional services recruitment. Over this time they have established themselves as a leader in providing recruitment services for both permanent and temporary staff looking for employment opportunities in finance, banking, accountancy, law and the public sector.
They have won a Recruiter Award for Excellence in Training & Development, as well as a Sunday Times special award for 'Training', on top of being ranked 7th in their 100 Best Companies to Work For 2006 list.
Team background and strategy:
Bristol Legal is a growing team with a huge amount of potential, covering legal recruitment (temp and perm) for the South West of England and South Wales. The team grew their Profit by 100% in 2006, increasing from £350,000 in 2005 to £700,000 GP in 2006
The team has an even split of private practice and public sector business at the moment, and our client will look at having their consultants specialise a bit more when they grow the team from 4 consultants (at present) to 5. They are currently billing around £60,000 per month as a team, although this is on the increase with temp numbers gradually increasing as well as regular permanent placements to supplement team fees.
Person Profile/ Qualities:
·The ideal profile would be someone with experience of recruitment, or sales (or a legal background)
·The individual needs to be able to 'self criticise', and be happy to admit weaknesses
·Someone who is focussed on quality of work rather than just quantity, and who is able to take a long term view to building and developing relationships and accounts.
·A problem solver and lateral thinker would be useful as well.
Essential skill set priority/ What do you want to see on a CV?:

2 Sales or recruitment experience would be ideal
3 Someone driven who can be trusted to get on with their work
4 Able to develop business through marketing and account management
