An exciting opportunity to account manage and generate new business opportunities for this leading public sector institution.
Your principal role will be to increase the number of consultancy practices joining IBC by developing and maintaining effective relationships with existing customers and actively seeking new business; to contribute to the IBC organisational membership proposition. Reporting to the Director of IBC, your main responsibilities will be managing all aspects of practice membership including customer relationships. This role is London based, however you will occasionally have to travel around the country to meet with clients and attend events.
The ideal Account manager will be:
• Educated to a degree level
• Able to engage with large and small consultancy practices
• Understanding of sales techniques
• A proven track record of delivering against challenging targets
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining high quality internal and external customer relationships.
• Demonstrable knowledge of effective customer relationship management
• Ability to cope with challenging deadlines and targets
• Ability to communicate at all levels in a variety of organisations
• Driven to maximise own performance
• Always work in ethical way.
• London based
• Able to travel in UK
• Able to work away from home occasionally or overnight and attend evening presentations as required by the role.
• Clean driving licence
