Job You will manage a team of 8 sales people, a regional sales manager and a designer and you will lead the sales and design team by example, exhibiting high ethical and moral standards. This is a pure people management role; you will not be carrying a personal target. Your success will be measured on the success of your team. Your role is to maintain and develop a strong, supportive organisational culture and to promote a high level of market awareness, which enhances the company's reputation as an authority and leader within its primary market sectors; architects, building contractors and end user clients within LEA's, county councils, regional and local authorities, universities / higher education, schools and public libraries. This is a UK wide role, ideally based in East Midlands, West Midlands, East Anglia or South East

Company Having been established for almost 70 years my client has become the market leader in storage, shelving, furniture and interiors for the public sector. This company has a proven track record in quality, design and excellent service. They manufacture their products and currently market their wide range of products and services across the UK and other European countries using very distinctive and separate brand names.

Person It is essential that you have experience as a Director or Senior Manager. You will have proven experience of personal customer contact / contract negotiation with architects, building contractors and end user clients within LEA's, county councils, regional and local authorities, universities / higher education, schools and public libraries. My client wants someone who is a strategic thinker, planner and implementer and who is approachable, adaptable and flexible
