Sales Director, Energy Solutions, UK Based, £80,000 + Bonus & Package
This is a fantastic opportunity for a current Sales Director to join a newly assembled division within Energy Solutions.
Job Purpose & Scope
. Leads a team of Senior Sales Executives and/or Sales Executives. Develops and coaches the sales team to deliver the appropriate business plan through the use of sales programs, methods and tools. . Ownership of sales planning, salesstrategy and sales activity for dedicated area consistent with Sales Management Disciplines and consistent with overall energy solutions business objectives. Drives development and implementation of aforesaid sales plan. . Responsible for the financialperformance of the sales team. . Implements & maintains sales management best practices to set the standards for excellent salesperformance. . Develops and maintains senior level relationships with customers and partners in order to maintain connection with local market issues. . Analyses market opportunities to develop and implement strategies to maximise margins and increase market penetration. Work closely with Director Marketing & Strategy. . Dedicated area within three ES Regions (South/ Central/ Benelux - UK/I/Nordics/S Afr - Emerging Markets)
Position Requirements . Master degree in engineering, sales & marketing or related field, MBA preferred or equivalent through experience. . Progressive experience in sales and/or sales management and proven project/ program management. Acquired experience & knowledge in assigned area is preferred within the energy service market. . Experience in a management role with responsibility for the productivity or development of others. . Experienced in energy and environmental services/ performance contracting . Expert business acumen and proven strategic thinking . Excellent coaching, motivational & interpersonal skills . Proven track record in achieving sales/business results . Excellent communication skills (identify and deliver core/ key messages to Executive management), ability to influence others. . Excellent market knowledge and industry network in assigned area . Experience in working successfully in a multinational, matrix driven organisation
