Sales Manager - Laser Cutting

  

Area: London or surrounding areas to cover the South of England

  

Salary:£30K-£40K    + OTE + Car or allowance

Our client is a well established UK based specialist sub-contractor using the latest laser technology for material processing. Our client has a very high reputation and offer laser profiling, laser welding, laser drilling and laser marking. All processes can be achieved on flat or three dimensional pre-formed components using laser technology. This Sales Team now has an important vacancy.

This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to play an important part in the strategic expansion of the company.

Our client is rapidly expanding, developing business and as part of their process of change and redevelopment they are currently looking for a sales manager to join the existing sales team and drive the business forward.

  

The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Production Manager, the Sales Manager will play a key role in being in charge of the day to day running of the sales department. Would be left to your own devices to do the full sales cycle.
  • Evaluate future market opportunities and work closely with the senior management to drive sales growthforward.
  • You will operate in an autonomous fashion and will play a key role in the long term development of the organisation.

The Credentials

  

  • Must have a great sales background and be able to work to deadlines.
  • Must be able to read an engineered drawing and produce prices.
  • High energy, customer orientated, structured thinker, able to balance hands-on sales and strategic direction. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and influencing skills with the ability to form high quality relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Must be willing to drive the business forward and increase on turnover.
  • A manufacturing background and experience in the laser industry is preferable manufacturing background would be a plus.
  • Great references are also a plus.
