The Marketing Applications Specialist is responsible for supporting new product introduction launches and sustaining existing products and brand awareness for the Company's portfolio of Cellular Imaging & Analysis equipment (CIA). 

This is a customer-facing position focussing on technical marketing tasks and providing support to the Sales and Marketing teams.  Although this is not a sales role, the ideal candidate will have an understanding of the sales process and will be commercially aware. 

Key Responsibilities

• Create application notes, technical notes and tips about CIA products;
• Create technical presentations, movies and interactive tools for use by sales team, product users and potential customers;
• Present CIA products at customer events, exhibitions and trade shows etc.;
• Provide general support for the creation of literature, website content etc.

The Candidate

Most suited to this role would be someone with an enthusiasm for science, and in particular imaging technologies.  An understanding and interest/experience of fluorescence microscopy is essential.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in any Life Science subject, and a marketing qualification or relevant experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The successful candidate will spend approximately 25% of the time travelling overseas and therefore a language skill, such as German or French, would be a distinct advantage.

A high degree of communication, presentation and interpersonal skills would serve this role well, as would an awareness of the commercial scientific marketplace.

£23,000 to £27,000 salary, plus attractive benefits
