Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager working within Secondary Care as part of a multi-disciplinary sales team, the main focus of this role will be the promotion and profitable sales of our clients product range which includes Urology and woundcare products. You will be required to implement the sales strategy through a key account management approach which includes identification and management of key opinion leaders to realise business opportunities. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Secondary Care and Primary Care Sales Teams, to deliver profitable hospital and homecare sales growth in line with operating budget and mid-term strategy. You will also become involved in the tender/contract process for your territory and combined Trust/PCT tenders and purchasing confederations as required. You will play a proactive role in the gathering and communication of market intelligence to relevant personnel on business objectives and provide detailed contact reports. You should be able to demonstrate good business acumen, with a proven track record in healthcare sales. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside verbal, numerical and negotiation skills. Above all you should be a team player with the enthusiasm and vitality to achieve success in this new and challenging role.
